Junior Warriors blank Palisades Pumas, 28-0

On the ensuing drive, IL linebacker Nate Weaver picked off a pass and took it back 72 yards for a score.

The Junior Warriors next score came when Landry Wilson's 12-yard sack set up Indian Land, forcing a Palisades' punt.

The punt snap was mishandled and the Junior Warriors' Angelo Dorazlo took in the fumble from 3 yards out for the touchdown.

Late in the game, the IL offense scored with Domini Odom breaking two tackles and sprinting 41 yards for the touchdown.

Indian Land's Tucker Davis kicked an extra 4 points.

The Warriors' defense, led by Isaac Craven, Dorazlo, Wilson, Terry and Weaver, caused three fumbles and stopped Palisades on 17 plays for lost yardage.

"Our coaching staff was energized to see our defense take control of the game and lead us to a big win in North Carolina,” said ILHS Junior Warriors coach Philip Sheesley.

The Junior Warriors are 3-1 and play again in York on Thursday, Sept. 28.
